Apple Computer, producer of the successful iPod MP3 player, is now offering consumers limited rights to buy their own home movies from the media store iTunes for $1.99 each... "As soon as you record that precious footage of your daughter's first steps, you'll be able to buy it right back from iTunes and download it directly to your computer and video iPod."

Apple Computer Inc. expects the average selling price of its iPod digital music players to decline in the current quarter from the prior period, the company's CFO said on Wednesday.
"We expect them to be down a little bit in the June quarter," Apple's Chief Financial Officer Peter Oppenheimer said.

This was a surprise and delight to test! At £59.99 not only is this a feature packed iPod speaker system it also acts as a dock and charger... I’m not sure how they’ve managed to do it but its great how you can pretty much get everything you need for almost half the price of some other systems that you find from high-end manufacturers such as JBL and Altec Lansing.
